Looking Back: Vertical Cinema at GEGENkino

Last week Vertical Cinema traveled to Leipzig for a screening at the alternative cinema festival GEGENkino. The screening, a German debut, attracted more than 400 visitors filling the seats of the Paul Gerhardt Church. The screen, 9 meters tall, loomed over the audience while the ten films lit up the apsis of the church.

Vertical Cinema filmmaker Johann Lurf was invited to answer whatever questions the curious audience had and there was the possibility to take a closer look at the projector after the screening.

Sonic Acts would like to warmly thank GEGENkino for hosting us.
